Getting around whilst on a city break in Barcelona is fairly easy. Whilst the Old Town is compact and easy to walk around you'll need to use public transport to visit some major attractions including La Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell.
Public transport comprises trains, buses and metro. The metro is the easiest, most efficient and cheapest way to get around Barcelona as are sightseeing buses which are a great way to see the city. The city has an easy ticketing system and the Barcelona City Card can be purchased from tourist offices, offering unlimited travel on all public transport as well as many discounts on the city's tourist attractions.
