Holidays to Costa Dorada, located to the South of Barcelona offer picturesque villages and several beach resorts. The most popular resort on the Costa Dorada is the lively resort of Salou . Holidays in Salou are very popular with families and the Port Aventura theme park is a major attraction. Many hotels in Salou offer great all inclusive packages but for budget holidays there are some great self catering apartments. Also known as the golden coast Salou and neighbouring resorts La Pineda and Cambrills boast fantastic sandy beaches, ideal for watersports.

Costa Dorada holidays are very popular with families thanks to the safe, clean beaches and activities on offer to keep all of the family entertained. Universal Port Aventura is a must offering plenty of rides and an aqua park, whilst the aquapark in La Pineda is very popular with kids.

A family holiday to the Costa Dorada is an ideal choice and offers excellent value for money. The vibrant resort of Salou offers a huge selection of bars, cafes and restaurants serving everything from traditional tapas to typically British cuisine. Cambrills, with it's cobbled streets and picturesque harbour and the beach resort of La Pineda are much more relaxed and offer a great alternative to lively Salou.
