Although Dusseldorf, lies in the most damaged area in Germany during World War 2, suprisingly the city has managed to retain all its old world charm. During your city break in Dusseldorf strolling around you will find pockets of the city that have not succumbed to modernisation and have a more charming village like atmosphere than that of a major city.
