Malta Holidays

With the striking scenery and the warm Mediterranean sea, Malta can offer great, budget holidays. Malta has a unique history, quaint towns and villages, and fun fiestas. Malta has earned a reputation more recently as a good value package holiday destination. With the fantastic warm climate, considerable amounts of sunshine, even during the winter months and the clear, warm sea Malta is a great family choice. There's an abundance of hotels and self catering apartments especially in the resorts on the north-east coast. Recently, the government has made attempts to upgrade the resorts and have constructed many four and five star hotels.

Once a small fishing village, this resort is now heavily developed, and resorts such as Bugibba and Qawra are able to offer a wide range of tourist facilities and accommodation. Although much of the coastline is rocky, there are plenty of areas for sunbathing, swimming, and water-sports on the north coast.
