Sitting on a private bit of beach, InterContinental Fujairah is a five-star resort. Can you blame it? It’s got four swimming pools because one isn’t enough, we need options. The restaurants here are so cool, each of them has a short and snappy name. Like Drift, where there are firepits so you can pull your other half for a chat (Love Island lingo) with the beach in the background. Speaking of the beach, it’s all private, and there are plenty of sunbeds to go around, but if you’re desperate to reserve the best ones at least the buffet opens at 7 am, so you can flip-flop your way there and tuck into a stack of pancakes, or a full-english.
