This oceanfront ecoparadise, which offers accommodations in thatched-roof cabanas, has grown up. Bungalows, such as the Africana, are more sophisticated with bamboo, artistic brick, and stonework. The splendid new yoga pavilion is a palace: It has an oceanfront setting for classes, retreats, and weddings.

Each of the separate bungalows has a colorful name like Cabaña India, Laja, Playa and Piedra. Interiors are rustic, constructed with wood, bamboo, stone coral tiles and with seductive lighting akin to cinematography. Most of the bungalows have kitchenettes. All have a mini fridge. Environmentally sensitive, much of the furniture is handcrafted from bamboo and coco palms that were cut to make the way free for the gardens and walkways.
