Riga Xmas Markets
The Riga Christmas Markets are expected to be open every day from 30th November 2022 to 6th January 2023. (Subject to change)
Located on Dome Square in the Old Town, the Grand Christmas Market is popular with locals and tourists attracting hundreds and thousands of visitors every year.
Famous as the city where the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree was born, Xmas markets in Riga offer a variety of Latvian crafts from wooden toys, candles, painted silks and lots more.
Sample the traditional Latvian Xmas treats with grainy sausages, grey peas and ham, sauerkraut and Latvian green teas. There’s also lots of opportunity to sample the mulled wine and delicious gingerbreads.
