The Parador occupies a Renaissance palace from the 15th century built on a former Muslim citadel and currently turned into a hotel. Inside you will breathe in the medieval aroma of armour, noble tapestries and beds with canopies, combined with the Renaissance style of the courtyard, the glazed wooden gallery and the heraldic coats of arms. Its facilities include two convention halls, an outdoor swimming pool with loungers and a garden. Its rooms are spacious and elegant, with Renaissance style and stately furniture, some of them with beds with canopies and large windows. Its restaurant offers traditional dishes from the region such as Zamorano-style rice, seasoned with parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic, pepper and onion, or cod "a la tranca".
