Gourmet Mexican and Indian restaurants add a fine-dining flourish. A beach bar serves ice-creams, hot snacks and crepes, and you can pick up sandwiches and light bites from the pool bar.

A tropical oasis, this place has five XL pools, a kids’ pool and a private beach with a diving centre and a shorefont bar cap things off. The Fayroz Spa has top chill out credentials – there’s a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, a Turkish hammam and a variety of treatments on offer. For younger guests, little ones from 4 to 12 years old can get involved in indoor and outdoor games at the hotel-run kids’ club. There’s a beachside playground for them, plus a mini-disco every night of the week.  There’s also an evening entertainment programme and a DJ-led disco bar.

All rooms at the Serenity Alpha Beach feature a private balcony or terrace, and inside there’ll be centrally controlled air-conditioning in the summer months, an LCD TV, safe, minibar and tea and coffee facilities.
