The Sunflower Hotel is a well-presented three-star property, located in the Qawra region of St Paul’s Bay. The local area offers plenty to see and do including rocky and sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, a cinema and an aquarium. The hotel’s modern exterior houses a beautifully traditional Maltese interior, and this hotel is proud of its excellent reputation. The hotel has Standard Rooms and Superior Rooms, all decorated with a traditional feel and featuring FREE Wi-Fi, a balcony, an en-suite bathroom, a satellite TV, a hairdryer, a ceiling fan, central heating and air conditioning (controlled by the hotel), a hire safe, a continental socket and a direct dial telephone.

Standard Rooms have twin beds, and some can accommodate an extra bed. A double bed is available on request, and these rooms can be booked out to solo travellers for a supplement. Superior Rooms are more spacious and include a sofa bed and tea and coffee making facilities. They can house three people, and in some cases up to four people.

The Sunflower Hotel has a main restaurant called Geranium, and two bars name Amaryllis and the Wardija Pool Bar. The Geranium is an elegant centrepiece of the hotel complex, and serves sumptuous buffets for breakfast and dinner. Specific dietary requirements can be catered for on request. The Amaryllis bar is the perfect place for a social drink or a snack, and the rooftop Wardija Pool Bar serves up drinks, snacks and entertainment between May and October.

In the hotel complex grounds, guests will find a rooftop swimming pool, a sunbathing terrace, a children’s paddling pool, an indoor swimming pool (heated in winter, sometimes closed in peak summer months) and spa and beauty treatments.
